Imani Winds Residency
Sept. 12–14, 2017, and April 6–7, 2018
With two member-composers and a deep commitment to commissioning new works, Imani Winds has distinguished itself by enriching the traditional wind quintet repertoire while meaningfully bridging European, American, African and Latin American traditions. Beginning this fall, the exhilarating New York-based ensemble will serve as DePauw's 2017/18 artists-in-residence, visiting campus September 12–14, 2017, and April 6–7, 2018. These multifaceted residencies include in-depth collaborations with wind students, the composition and chamber music programs at DePauw and the Greencastle community.
