Music on the Square (M2) Space Rental Prices

Pricing for DePauw University Offices

  • $25/hour for staffing, overhead, and utilities
  • A minimum of 1 hour for setup and 1 hour tear down must be paid. Setup and tear down are provided by the School of Music.

Linens and Catering

  • Linens for non-meal events may be provided at a cost of $15/table. Color options include brown linens for round tables or black linens for rectangular tables.
  • Linens for catered events must be provided by the caterer.
  • The M2 kitchen is for university catering only.

Audio and Visual Needs

  • A $40 A/V Fee will be charged for use of the projectors, microphone and podium, or sound equipment.

Additional Details

  • Any damages to the space, contents, or instruments will be charged to the office hosting the event.
  • Events may not exceed the capacities set per the Fire Marshal.
  • All events are subject to calendar availability.
  • Late night, weekend, and large scale events may be subject to additional charges based on setup needs and scope of usage.

A non-refundable payment equal to 50% of the full cost is due prior to the event.

  • External groups must provide a security deposit. The amount of the security deposit will be determined based on the scope of usage. Any damages to the space, contents, or instruments will be charged to the organization or individual hosting the event.
